You can do this by organizing poker nights at home with a few chit chats and of course some food and wine.

You can play poker from one home to another making a tour of your circle of friend’s places. You can go from betting a few pennies, a few dollars, to hundreds of bucks. One night per week is great. We list down some things which can help you spice up your home poker a bit.

Automatic shuffler

Automatic shuffler is a gift from heaven for you and your poker buddies. Whatever style of poker you and your friends play, the shuffler will come in very handy. The reasons are self explanatory. You can get an automatic shuffler from around $300 that will look good on your poker table. There are also cheaper ones for around $150.

Tournaments

Organize a tournament among yourselves and determine the amount of payout. You can use some online poker software to determine the prize structure. If you have only a small circle of less than 10 players then things might be easier if you make it a winner take it all thing. Competition will be really nice.

Satellite format

You can use your own tournament to build a fund which can send one or some of your poker buddies to local or even bigger poker tournaments. Set aside some money from your buy-ins so you can have a seed fund.

Home poker games need not to be a routine. You can do a lot of stuff to make it fun for everyone.

When playing poker, you must be conscious of your poker image. It is basically how others will perceive you as a poker player and is determined by how you play the game.

Most of the time, other players will read you by how you play your cards. Other factors which may affect your image may include how you behave on the table in front of your opponents.

Other players can judge if you are a tight player if you are the silent type on the table. Be talkative and enjoy the game, and you can be perceived with a loose table image.

Your poker table image is very important because other players will base on it the strategies they will use against you.

When you have a loose table image, most of the time, other players will be willing call and raise against your bets. They will have a thinking that you have lower standards when deciding if you will play the cards that you have.

You might be a money magnet when you play a big hand if you have a loose image. Your image will disguise your bets, raises, re-raises, or all ins and lead them to a trap.

On the other hand, a tight image will lead other players to be more conservative to play against your call. Your opponents might think that you have a good or big hand every time you throw in those chips.

Playing tight may lead you to premium or good hands. This may mean increasing your chances of raking in the money.

An advice whether you need to play a tight or loose image is impossible. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. It is up to you to decide if you can use a table image, and if the other players really care about how you play your game. Sometimes, it’ll pay to look as loosey goosey as Sam Farha – at other points, you’ll want people to think you’re tight like Howard Lederer. Mix up your game, and take down the big pots!

Much have been talked about the game of poker but little does anyone know that with a proper blend of intelligence and game plan one can easily beat a player and earn himself “easy money”.

The game of poker requires regular monitoring of the cards with every deal and if you are smart enough you can always anticipate the probable cards that your competitors are holding. Never go for a high money table if you are trying your hands at a new game. A wise person will always practice his hands on a free or a low money table to get acquainted with all the rules and regulation of the game and then move to a high table.

While playing the game one should also refrain from drinking alcohol. There is very beautiful saying that “You cannot serve to masters at the same time” and if you do then one of the masters will surely suffer. Drinking with the game of poker can prove to be very costly as the game of poker itself requires players to be at the tip of their senses with every move.

One last thing which is always appreciated is to maintain a law profile and never be over confident. One should be very clear in his mind when to call off for the day. It is observed that players get carried away when losing and in the hope of a successive win keeps on bidding only to regret in the end. When you start to play what we call “Let’s Gamble Poker“, you’re going to need a LOT of luck to make money.

If you follow the above listed tips then surely your wisdom can easily outscore any player and the returns are surely going to be handsome.
